This particular solenoid is designed to control today's high-performance wastegates utilizing the best materials and technology to provide super fast response within a compact and durable design. This particular solenoid features a 6061 aluminum body that can withstand temperatures up to 250°F, and it will come powder-coated in a nice black finish for extra protection against corrosion, and to provide a clean look to the engine bay.
A custom made solenoid coil and valve are made specific to PERRIN specs. This allows the valve to operate almost 2 times faster when compared to other designs, and it will work with OEM ECUs without throwing a check engine light. Please note that ECU recalibrations are mandatory to ensure that no over boosting will happen.
Included with the PERRIN Pro Series 3-Port Electronic Boost Controller will be all the required hardware, fittings, brackets, and vacuum line to make this boost controller ready for the installation.
Note that this solenoid will accept AN fittings for those utilizing stainless braided vacuum lines.
