All of the K24 engines and some K20 engines come from the factory with a unique oil pump that includes balance shafts. These balance shafts require filtered oil and they get it from a jet located in the crankshaft main girdle. For those of us in pursuit of better oiling, more power, or additional oil pan baffling options... we find this oil jet open after switching to either the Type S/R or S2000 oil pumps.

Some of these oil jets are threaded into the crankshaft main girdle and others are just pressed in and once removed reveal a hole with no threads. This product solves the problem associated with capping off the un-threaded hole.

NOTE: Due to the odd fastener thread pitch... the bolt used to secure the saddle plug is large and will require modification to the windage tray. If you choose the spacers, the windage tray will clear the bolt head but a small amount of material will need to be removed from the windage tray where it makes contact with the pump. Customers have said that removing the small amount of material when using the spacers... is much easier than notching for the bolt head.
