SPOON SPORTS is excited to introduce the new BONNET VENT CARBON for the 11th generation Civic Type R (FL5).
The standard Civic Type R (FL5) may struggle with cooling performance during intense driving. While we've already enhanced cooling with upgrades like a low-temp thermostat and increased radiator capacity, we've taken it a step further by refining the bonnet duct. We've maximized the opening area by widening the louvers and redesigned the duct to improve airflow. The front of the duct is angled upwards to help expel hot air from the engine bay, while the rear extends towards the engine room to facilitate smoother heat discharge.
Crafted from dry carbon, this bonnet vent maintains the original rain guard on the back to prevent water from entering the engine room. For optimal cooling performance, we recommend removing the rain guard during sports driving.
