The STM Transmission-Mount Engine Oil Catch Can is designed to mount right to your 5-speed or 6-speed transmission in the 2003-2006 Evolution VIII-IX. The mounting tabs allow you to re-use the existing transmission bolts and places the catch can right under the intake, out of the way with easy accessibility to the drain plug.

The STM 2-Port Valve Cover Breather design includes everything to properly route the can directly to the valve cover. We include both STM valve cover fittings for a clean and direct install, high quality swivel fittings and braided nylon hose. The can itself features 3 -6AN ports so if you need the additional third port and vent, it's ready to upgrade.
We include 10 feet of nylon braided line for you to route the install any way you want. The soft nylon also will not scratch paint or other finishes. We suggest a touch of glue or epoxy when installing the STM Valve Cover Fittings. The larger fitting goes in the back side of the valve cover, deleting the PCV valve. The can bolts directly to your transmission using existing bolts, be sure to select the correct transmission when ordering.

STM Valve Cover Fittings.
The fitting itself is a very tight fit, but we would definitely recommend a touch of glue or epoxy to help hold it in place in the valve cover upon install. We recommend the ThreeBond Gasket Maker .
If you need to replace your filters in the future, this is the 5/8" Breather Filter you'll need.
