The JBR Power Path Short Ram Stage II Intake kit is a complete replacement for the restrictive factory air filter box and turbo inlet pipe for your MAZDASPEED. The Stage II kit includes the JBR Power Path SRI and Turbo Inlet Pipe. Performance and value all in one kit! Simple to install and no ECU tuning is required.
Every MAF housing is machined from a 6061 aluminum blank to tolerances of +/-.001" and includes a factory-style air straightener for the most accurate signal to the MAF sensor. Our MAF housings are the lightest in the industry weighing in at only 9.6oz. The lighter housing significantly reduces heat soak, sheds heat quicker lowering intake temperatures and creates more power. Each MAF housing is beautifully anodized for a smooth, long lasting finish resistant to corrosion, even when subjected to the harshest environmental conditions.
Our custom 5 ply polyester and wire reinforced silicone intake hose eliminates the turbulence caused by the factory hose. The JBR Turbo Inlet pipe, also 5 ply polyester and wire reinforced, is designed to replace the restrictive factory inlet pipe with no required modification to the vehicle. Its large cross-sectional design and smooth transition down to the turbo and allow for efficient flow air directly in to your turbo. Our silicone is installed using wide stainless T-bolt clamps, not weak worm gear clamps to ensure a leak free seal.
Every Power Path Short Ram Intake includes a Dry-Flow air filter. JBR Dry Flow air filters flow 200% more air than the factory filter while providing superior engine protection. It uses both depth loading, capable of removing extremely fine particles (down to < 0.1 micron), and structural screen wire to enhance airflow capabilities. This design results in a performance air filter capable of increasing horsepower and torque! The three-dimensional synthetic filtering medium is washable and requires no oiling for years of trouble-free service.
