With our kit, which includes a high-quality Wix XP filter, you can effortlessly switch to a conventional spin-on filter, ensuring the longevity of your engine.

We offer two filter options with this kit. The first is a stock-size Wix XP filter, providing excellent filtration and compatibility. The second option is a taller Wix XP filter, which offers approximately 50% more filtering capacity, ensuring even greater protection for your engine. Why Wix XP filters? They are the same filters we run on our shop and personal vehicles. They offer some of the best flow and filtration on the market.
With our kit an OE gasket is included, and we use the updated Ford filter housing, which features a steel thread vs the aluminum threaded Mazda housing.
Please note: We do not recommend the Larger filter if you intend to run a spin-on oil sensor adapter, and the Larger filter may lightly contact the under tray on some vehicles. Some early cars may need the locating tab to be shortened or trimmed to fit within this adapter. The gasket for the oil cooler itself is not included.
